Smart Radar Software Terms of Use

Please read these Terms of Use carefully before using the software. Any use of the software constitutes your full and unconditional acceptance of these Terms of Use. If you do not accept these Terms of Use in full, you may not use the software for any purpose.

1. General Provisions and Software Functionality

1.1. Smart Radar (the “Software”) is a mobile application that functions as a GPS alert system. The Software uses geolocation data (GPS/GLONASS) to notify users when they approach objects marked on a map.

1.2. The Software is based on a database (a list of points) containing information about the locations of fixed and mobile photo and video traffic-enforcement systems (cameras), as well as potentially hazardous road sections.

1.3. The Software analyzes the device’s current location, compares it with the point database and, when the device approaches a specified object, provides an alert in the configured form (sound, voice announcement, or on-screen notification).

2. Disclaimer and Compliance with Traffic Regulations

2.1. No device or application operating within applicable law can fully protect you from administrative penalties (fines) if you violate traffic regulations. The Software is provided for informational purposes only.

2.2. Data provided by the Software may contain errors or inaccuracies. The camera and object database is not authoritative and may omit existing enforcement devices or contain outdated location information. The Developer does not guarantee the absolute completeness, accuracy, or timeliness of the database.

2.3. The driver of the vehicle in which the Software is used bears full and exclusive responsibility for compliance with traffic regulations, safe maneuvering, and operation of the vehicle. The Developer is not responsible for fines resulting from traffic violations, regardless of whether the Software provided an alert.

2.4. DRIVE SAFELY — always follow traffic regulations and pay attention to road conditions and signs. You must not become distracted from driving to interact with the Software interface or change its settings while the vehicle is moving. Settings may be changed only while the vehicle is stopped.

3. Intellectual Property

3.1. Images, animations, videos, text, audio, and the structure and contents of the database (list of points) included in the Software are the property of the Developer or their respective licensors.

3.2. You may not copy, reproduce, reconstruct, or extract (including by parsing), in whole or in part, any content or data used by the Software, or use it for commercial purposes, without the Developer’s prior written consent.

4. Disclaimer of Warranties

4.1. The Software is provided “as is,” without any express or implied warranties regarding quality, reliability, compatibility, security, effectiveness, functionality, accuracy, or level of detail of the information provided, or freedom from legal violations that may be associated with its use, regardless of cause, except for warranties expressly required by applicable law.

4.2. By using the Software:

• You assume all risks associated with using the Software, including the risk of receiving inaccurate or untimely information.

• You accept full responsibility for any consequences resulting from actions taken based on information received from the Software.

• You release the Developer from liability for any losses, damages, fines, or other adverse consequences related to the use of, or inability to use, the Software.

• You are solely responsible for any use of the Software that violates applicable rules or laws.

5. Termination of Services (Removing the Software)

5.1. You may stop using the Software and remove it from your device at any time using the standard operating-system tools. Removing the Software automatically terminates the services provided to you under these Terms.

6. Changes to This Document

6.1. The Developer reserves the right to amend these Terms of Use unilaterally. A new version becomes effective when published at https://smartradarapp.com/en/license.html unless the new version states otherwise. Continued use of the Software after changes are published constitutes your acceptance of those changes.
